Bear
Our lovable English Black Lab and unofficial Chief Happiness Officer
Say hello to Bear, our lovable English Black Lab and unofficial Chief Happiness Officer here at the Westchase Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation! Bear takes his job of spreading smiles very seriously — whether it’s greeting patients at the door, offering moral support during therapy sessions, or sneaking in for an occasional belly rub break.
He’s been through training for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen, AKC’s Community Canine, and Therapy Dog programs (he just needs to take his final tests — we’re confident he’ll pass with flying colors, especially if treats are involved).
Bear’s calm, gentle nature makes him a natural at helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. When he’s off duty, you’ll find him enjoying walks, napping under a sunny window, or keeping a close eye on anyone eating lunch.
We’re pretty sure the clinic runs better with him around — and our patients agree!
